3D Areola Tattooing
3D areola tattooing is one of the most meaningful services I offer. Many of my clients come to me after mastectomy or breast reconstruction feeling like their reflection does not fully match the strength of the journey they have walked. My role is to gently help close that chapter by recreating the look of a natural areola and nipple with careful color and shading.
In a private, unhurried setting, I start with a conversation about your surgery history, any medical guidance you have received, and how you want your chest to look and feel. Some clients bring old photos; others only know they want something that feels soft, believable, and truly theirs. I measure, map, and show you placement and size before we begin, so you feel in control of every decision. Using specialized paramedical tattoo techniques, I layer multiple tones to create the illusion of depth, highlight, and texture. Even on surgically flat skin, this shading can give the appearance of a three-dimensional nipple without additional surgery. Throughout the process, I apply medical-grade numbing creams and check in often so you stay as comfortable as possible.
You leave with clear written aftercare, what to expect during healing, and when to return for your perfecting session if needed. My training includes a state-required tattoo apprenticeship and bloodborne pathogens certification, so you can feel confident about safety and hygiene.
This service is about far more than color on skin. It is about restoring a sense of wholeness after cancer, top surgery, or other breast procedures. A portion of every areola appointment is donated to the American Cancer Society, so your personal healing also supports others still in treatment, creating a quiet circle of care that extends beyond the studio.
